Today in this post you can know how to check time, date and Venue for the hearing for NRC Assam.

Earlier we have explained how to claim (include your name) in NRC Assam Draft. Note that, NRC Complete Draft was published on 30th July 2018 as per the direction of Hon’ble supreme court of India. Persons whose name wasn’t included due to the various reasons are allowed to resubmit the claim application to include the name. The last date to submit of such applications was 31st December 2018.

NRC State Co-ordinator of Assam has scheduled the time, date and venue for hearing to verify your applications. A notice will be sent to your home by NRC authority to attend your hearing. You can also check online NRC Claims and Objection hearing online portal on www.nrcassam Claimants are requested to attend the hearing on the given date and time at the allotted venue and this hearing cannot be rescheduled.

On the first line enter your 21 digit NRC application receipt number.

On the second line same digital value shown in the image above the second line.

Now click on Search. Now you can see if the hearing is scheduled for your application receipt number.

Some Important Points to Note:

Regarding Hearing of Claims and Objections: Claimants are requested to attend the hearing on the given date and time at the allotted venue that is being delivered house to house via a Notice by NRC Field level functionaries. Date, time and venue cannot be rescheduled.

You cannot make any changes or corrections now. The information will remain the same.

In case of a minor, his or her parents only need to come for the hearing. Your child need not appear for the hearing of claims. Regards
